The Crying Game

Any advice for coping with the crying fits?

When they are that little they don't cry for attention or to cause trouble, there is usually something wrong. The problem is trying to figure out what it is. Things to look for: Diapers, Hungry, Too hot/cold, Gas. If all else fails, try the gas drops.

Also keep him bundled tight. They aren't used to wide open spaces and it freaks them out a bit.

I second the swaddling. Gavin liked to have his arms out, but his legs bound. Every baby's different so it may take a time or two to figure out what your little guy likes. And gas drops are a gift from the gods.
